Citrix Receiver software will be included on Samsung Galaxy smartphones and mobile tablets giving mobile device users the ability to access high-definition applications securely and in real time. Regardless of location, Citix Receiver provides access to virtual desktops and apps, effectively making a Samsung mobile device a business tool. The software also supports resource-intensive enterprise apps such as complex database and 3D applications on a Galaxy tablet or smartphone along with full-touch enablement on a secure, high-speed network connection. The software will be released in conjunction with Samsung’s launch of the Galax Tab later.
