1 Billion Smartphones Shipped In 2013

Smartphones accounted for 55.1% of worldwide mobile phone shipments last year; Samsung, Apple again led the pack.

Disagree on size
I disagree about the iPhone screen size. The iPhone 5's screen is larger than its predecessors, but it's just large enough, in my opinion. Any bigger and I think I'd be uncomfortable using it (especially with one hand) and carrying it around.

I'm a little surprised there is not one mention of Blackberry. I am not surprised they are not close to samsung or apple b ut they must have had some shipments. I would be interested to see how many they shipped.
