Google Bets On Robots: Goodbye, Jobs?

While Amazon makes a splash with drones, Google invests in robot technologies. Depending on your profession, that could be bad news.

I often tell my young niece and nephew to get good at something a robot can't do. Of course, they just roll their eyes at me. I agree that creativity, personality and generating good ideas are areas where robots are weak (obviously). But they are very strong in assembling components and processing information. Maybe eventually humans step out of the manufacturing and assembly work process entirely. But there will be dire consequences in the form of rampant unemployment and possible rebellion.

Stay Creative
Creatitivity is something robots and AI will always find hard to emulate, so make sure you stay in an industry that requires creativity for maximum performance and you should be safe. For now.
