Isis Claims 20,000 New Wallets Per Day

Mobile payments service Isis says it's rapidly adding users to its tap-to-pay mobile wallet service.

verizon did an update now i have the isis wallet.  Love the forced updates.

Isis, PayPal competitor?
Isis is probably the competitor that PayPal would most like beat. They have a big start in the mobile market with diffferent carriers.

@Lorna I haven't noticed any in my part of NY either, though I have seen a few places that allow Google Wallet payments.

I do a fair amount of shopping in the greater Boston area and don't recall seeing one of these payment terminals. Are retailers limiting the rollouts to certain areas?

And, do you think Apple will add native NFC support in the next iPhone? Otherwise, it's hard to see how Isis can really go mainstream.
