Smartphone batteries drain quickly, and when you're running low it's tough to determine what you have time to do before your phone dies. BatterySense for iOS shows which functions you can use and for how long. It also recommends which phone settings to change to best preserve battery life, and how much life you can gain by switching. Android users can save energy with Easy Battery Saver, which helps extend battery life by adjusting network connectivity, screen time out and screen brightness. You can choose from four preset saving modes depending on your circumstances.

re: 13 Favorite iOS, Android Apps
HopStop seems to be for iOS only. Can't find it on Google Play.

I found the Transit App though. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thetransitapp.droid). It looks similar to HopStop. Already downloaded it.

I'd like to add WebSharingLite for Android (https://play.google.com/stor/ap/details?id=nextapp.websharing&hl=en). A nice little gem that lets you download or upload files to your device thru a WiFi connection. You know, in case you can't find the cable.

I can personally attest to HopStop's ability to get you from point A to point B. It is pretty accurate and is a must have for city dwellers or those who frequently travel.
