Apple's New iPads: 7 Predictions

Look for Apple to revise the full-size iPad and the iPad Mini later this month. Here's what we expect -- and what we don't.

The defining feature of the iPhone 5s is the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The sensor is built into the home button and lets iPhone 5s owners unlock their device and authorize iTunes purchases using their fingerprint. The technology works fairly well and is a cinch to set up. Many believe the larger iPad will gain the same Touch ID sensor, but there's no indication that the iPad Mini will also get the feature. The module itself is estimated to cost Apple only $7, but Apple might want to give the iPad some features that the iPad Mini doesn't have.

"Coming Soon" is Growing Tired. Jobs got away with that stuff for years. Take away the Apple groupies Apple is just another player in an ever expanding field. Users and investors can not ignore the amazing other player. Samsung, Moto, Nokia and the key player Microsoft are all gaining share. Microsoft is the true to be taken seriously. The Surface not only gives the youth market and casuals what an iAnything gives, Microsoft appeals and delivers the breath of users needs. The keyboard, the tent, loaded with "Office" and does it all. Samsung delivered all those things APPLE has been promising. With the purchase of Nokia and the ability to load the important stuff you may expect MS and Google to own a bigger share of market within year.
Apples hubris is no longer appreciated. $700.00 never again. Who knows MS may be only a $50,00 stock in a year but investors will be content.
Look at their aquisitions. And Google will hit $1200. by Q4 of 14. See the puts for next months.

All this growth has been around all the other companies lately. Look at the space in your Verizon , AT&T and the others. Very telling stuff. Adults will prevail. Microsoft must guard against getting too pricey... GOOGLE should win with the casual, bottom feeders and is a retail value.
