The idea that making it look "inept" would shield Google from ridicule is crazy. Especially in a paragraph criticizing how it looks.
Numbers 3,5,7,8,(9) are all probably inevitable even without any hardware change whatsoever. (maybe not 9, if there is no bluetooth radio in the explorer model)
I read that the price would be in the $100 - $200 range, but we'll see.
That only leaves numbers 2,4,6, and 10. I can almost guarantee that they are already working on 2,4 and 6.
I don't think this is a smear campaign, but this article is very misleading to the consumer. I guess the article was effective at getting me to sign up in order to comment, so it has value to information week, but I don't see what value it has to the consumer.
