iPad Mini: 8 Things We Want

The iPad has a single speaker positioned to the left of the 30-pin dock connector port (when the device is face-down), as shown in the photo above from Sonny Dickson of 9to5Mac. The top unit in the image is allegedly the iPad Mini, which appears to have two speaker grilles, one on each side of the new Lightning connector. Dual speakers on the iPad Mini would be a good thing, particularly since competing 7-inch tablets such as the Kindle Fire HD and Nook HD each have a pair of stereo speakers.
