The new iPhone will reportedly use in-cell touch panel technology, which embeds the touch sensor within the thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD), thereby enabling a slightly thinner design. The change may seem minor to end users, but it promises to improve production yields and may eventually lower production costs by 10% to 20%, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

re: iPhone 5: 10 Things To Expect From Apple
Isn't it also interesting that iPhone sales dwarf Samsung's? It's certainly a matter of choice. I was so persuaded by reviews that I switched from iPhone 4s to Samsung Galaxy S3. After having the S3 I can say "For me it's not superior to the 4s". For me the S3 is to big, the 4s display is much sharper & there is no comparison in android's to Apple's. The S3 may be superior in specs but in usability it doesn't compare. The S3 I think for the most part has it's place with gamers and the younger generation but I as I said it's a matter of choice and it's seems most choose the iPhone. I'm looking forward to the iPhone 5.

re: iPhone 5: 10 Things To Expect From Apple
Apple's advantage is and always has been the user interface / GUI. They make it easy for people to use there devices. I have an iPhone because of iTunes, if andriod or Mobile 8 get an nice music player I'll give my iPhone to my kid. For my needs nothing else is superior about any Apple product.

Wow! What an exciting article. "High expectations." Doesn't sound like the usual Apple three exclamation point words and phrases - 'iPhone% - Sept 12 - an Earth Shattering Event!! The most popular phone in the Universe!!

Isn't this interesting because iPhones are starting to copy Samsung (still a superior product).
