Surface's Pro's hybrid design eliminates the need to tote a tablet and a laptop, which should reduce your device count from three to two. (Sorry, you'll still need a smartphone.) The Surface Pro's lovely 10.6-inch full HD display (1920 x 1080 pixels) is large enough to run Windows 7 apps without too many compromises.
