Google Translate for Android smartphones offers a unique and compelling new capability. This beta feature, called Conversation Mode, makes it possible to carry out a person-to-person conversation and have the Android device translate and speak each piece of the conversation on the fly. In Conversation Mode, after a phrase is spoken, the app gives the speaker the opportunity to see the speech to text translation and make sure it is correct before translating the phrase and playing it for the other speaker.
