re: Samsung Galaxy S III: Pros And Cons
I am happy to see that someone is taking a good hard look at these devices.
I have had so many devices from an old Nokia 610, to 660, to Blackberry Pearl, Bold, Curve, Torch, and several Samsung.
I just don't see what the the surveys are saying. Big Screens are In? No.
I am a consultant who travels very often. I have a Bold 9700 and an iPhone. The Bold has a great set of features but is very limited apps. iPhone has a great UI but is limited PIM capabilities. Both of which are crucial.
When I switched to the iPhone, it took a lot getting used to for it's size. Now, phones are nearing 5" screen size? Imagine me sitting in a meeting, the phone rings, and I hold up a tablet to my ear and start speaking?
Another very frustrating idea is that none of the Android devices natively Sync with Outlook's PST file. The only two software bundles which have succeeded in doing so, and correctly, are Microsoft's ActiveSync and the Blackberry Desktop.
