Sprint and Palm unveiled the Treo 800w Windows Mobile-based smartphone with integrated GPS and EV-DO wireless broadband.The Treo 800w, which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1, supports the Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) Rev. A standard for high-speed wireless data transmission. It also supports WiFi and has a dedicated one-touch WiFi connectivity button. It works directly with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 SP2 and 2007 and with Microsoft Direct Push Technology.
The Treo 800w is so far available only through Sprint and is priced at about $250 with a service contract.PC World, Gizmodo
