With Nokia's touch-screen phone finally made official, the industry is turning its gaze toward Research In Motion. BlackBerry's maker hasn't even officially announced the touch-screen BlackBerry Storm (even though we know a lot about it), but there's already a leaked promo video making its way across the Internet.Thanks to CrackBerry for finding this:
To recap, the BlackBerry Storm reportedly will have many goodies you'd expect from RIM. This video seems to confirm it will be able to be a tethered modem, and you'll be able to use voice and data simultaneously (although that may not happen when this lands on Verizon Wireless).
This is actually a pretty groovy commercial, and it's definitely a consumer, or prosumer, play for RIM, which is making a strong push into the casual/iPhone market. I'm still waiting to see how the keyboard will react, but this looks like it could give Verizon a true iPhone competitor.
