My Xbox Live For iOS: A Visual Tour

Microsoft's iOS app gives Xbox 360 owners with iOS devices access to their Xbox Live account from their iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch.

If you're not signed in, this is first thing you see when you open the app. Down in the right corner is the build number.

After signing in you'll see the home screen, which is really just a page for daily featured content. You can watch featured videos, click on the envelope at the top of the screen to check your messages, or tap the gear to change settings or sign out.

This is your dashboard. You can see your avatar, check and send messages, see friends' status, add new friends, or click on the shirt icon at the bottom to change your avatar's look.

You can change your avatar's style and features from your iOS device. Touching the avatar lets you rotate it to see your character from the front, side, and back.

View your Gamerscore and achievements for games you are currently playing. Please, don't laugh at my Gamerscore. I am not an achievement junkie.

The iPad's interface looks similar to the console and has the tiled look consistent with Microsoft's more current UIs, such as the new Xbox dashboard, Kinect Hub, Windows Phone 7 and the upcoming Windows 8.

The iPad has the added advantage of making access to multiple items easy.
