Who Are The Top CIOs in Government?
The editors of InformationWeek Government are putting together our list of the top CIOs in federal, state and local government, and we'd like to invite our readers to be a part of the process.The editors of InformationWeek Government are putting together our list of the top CIOs in federal, state and local government, and we'd like to invite our readers to be a part of the process.The InformationWeek Government CIO 50 will be a who's who of IT leaders across government. We are looking for CIOs and other senior IT execs who have shown a commitment to innovation, good government and effective leadership. Please weigh in and let us know who you think belongs on our list, whether it be the CIO of a major federal agency or of a small town in Wisconsin.
This is the second time we've tackled this project. Our first list (published in 2009) included CIOs from across federal government, as well as many state and city CIOs. But change is constant in government IT, and you can expect to see many new faces in our 2011 profiles, including names suggested by our readers.
