The update to Mac OS X 10.4.3 covers bugs in everything from Apple's Safari Web browser to password problems that can lead to the Mac's version of Windows' infamous "Blue Screen of Death."
Danish vulnerability tracker Secunia rated the bugs with an aggregate "Less critical" ranking, while other security vendors noted that no known exploits had been spotted for any of the vulnerabilities patched by the update.
Mac OS X 10.4.3 corrects a record number of problems that beats the previous high in August
by 50 percent, and it size -- 97MB for the client version, 118MB for the server -- reflects that.
A full listing of the 60 fixes can be found here.
10.4.3 can be retrieved manually from the Apple Downloads site or through the operating systems' internal Software Update feature.
