LivingSocial, which allows users to share their favorite music, books, movies, restaurants, and more, is now available through a new feed in Facebook's redesign. The company said its "Pick Your Five" feature has drawn up to 150,000 new users per hour with more than 6 million new users creating 9 million lists in the first week it launched on Facebook.
The company introduced free iPhone apps last year, and its "Near Me" application integrates GPS technology so users can find restaurants and businesses close by. LivingSocial boasts 14 million users and more than 200 million entries -- including books, movies, TV shows, music, video games, iPhone apps, restaurants, and beer -- in lists that span Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Hi5, and Orkut.
Users' all-time favorites include: the movie Pulp Fiction, the television show Friends, Pink Floyd's album Dark Side Of The Moon, the book Twilight, and Corona beer.
