Most governments have yet to embrace the Internet to cut regulatory costs, a new study by Deloitte Consulting concludes. By minimizing the amount of time and effort it takes to complete government transactions, E-government can save businesses tens of billions of dollars a year, according to the report, Citizen Advantage: Enhancing Economic Competitiveness Through Government.
