Google Acquires Technology

Search-engine service Google Inc. said last week that it has acquired Kaltix Corp., a privately held search technology startup. Formed in June, Kaltix focuses on developing personalized and context-sensitive search technologies. Google said Kaltix's software makes it faster and easier to find information on the Web. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
