Ricoh Corporation introduced Wednesday the Ricoh AC204, a compact, all-in-one printing system. The AC204 provides users with simplex and duplex copying (1:2) and printing capabilities, a legal-size platen, full-color TWAIN scanning, three-second fax communication, and 600 dpi print resolution. A 550-sheet paper tray and 100-sheet bypass tray allow users to load different paper sizes. Additionally, the AC204's design is Energy-Star compliant.

The AC204 has a user-friendly control panel with a two-line display. Copying at 16 pages per minute, the AC204 allows the user to make copies of a single original from the legal-size platen or copy multiple originals using the standard 30-Sheet Automatic Document Feeder. The AC204 can be connected to a PC via a USB1.1 (USB cable included) or IEEE1284 Parallel Port

The AC204 incorporates fax capabilities featuring a Super G3 33.6Kbps Modem. Once documents are scanned from the platen or Automatic Document Feeder, they are transmitted in three seconds per page. The Remote Control Panel Software allows users to set up fax system data options, create and edit Phonebook entries, or view the information from their PC. Group Dial feature allows faxes to be transmitted to many recipients at once.
