SPSS 9.0 for Windows includes a new table-to-graph function that lets tabular data be converted into visual graphs for analysis. The release also offers more graphing options and new statistical capabilities.
The new release expands the data sources that users can access. An ASCII text wizard has been added to the software's acquisition tools, giving users the ability to access data in ASCII format. The release also provides direct data interfaces for Oracle Express, Hyperion Essbase, and BusinessObjects. A single-user license for SPSS 9.0 for Windows is $799; a variety of pricing programs are available for multiple users. The product is available now in North America and will be available elsewhere next month.
