Some of the savings are significant.
Microsoft is offering $30 off its Explorer Mini Mouse and $45 off the price of the Wireless Laser Desktop 6000 through Buy.com. And it's teamed with Amazon to deliver 37% instant savings on the Lifecam Cinema, which shoots video in 720p High Definition.
Other deals are also available.
Most of the products support Device Stage, a new feature in Windows 7 that allows users to more easily manage peripherals from the desktop and obtain information, such as product registration numbers, specific to their hardware.
Microsoft mice and keyboards also support Windows Flip, which lets users obtain a thumbnail preview of all open windows with the touch of a button.
"Windows 7 is now broadly available to the public, and to celebrate this launch Microsoft Hardware is offering deals on some of its innovative products that help make everyday tasks faster and easier with the new operating system," the company said.
Microsoft formally launched Windows 7 last week. Early sales on Amazon and other Internet sites appear to be strong.
The full version of Windows 7 Professional is $299, with upgrades going for $199. Windows 7 Ultimate is priced at $319, with the upgrade version at $219. The full version of Windows 7 Home Premium is priced at $199, with an upgrade from Vista or XP costing $119.
