Flamenco Dances To The Bank With $7.4 Million

Flamenco Networks has raised $7.4 million in second-round financing to be used, in part, to further develop software for managing Web-services applications. The funding comes from Cordova Ventures, Noro-Moseley Partners, and Flagship Ventures.

Flamenco's software manages Web-services connections, which makes linking applications easier. However, there are still labor-intensive tasks such as synchronizing application connections, coordinating content, and managing app security. The Atlanta company's products automate those tasks, monitor Web-services transactions, issue alerts, and create performance reports. Says president James Davis, "It's what you need to practically implement Web services."
