Research: The New iPad: 7 Updates That Mean Business
Now that the latest biannual Apple buzz-a-thon has died down, it’s time to see what the newest iPad offers enterprise users. We also asked 402 IT pros whether it's time to put these devices to work: Just 10% don’t allow iPads and iPhones, mostly because of a lack of enterprise applications, while 42% say they'll increase use of Apple products in the future. Here are the features and applications we find most compelling. -
Research: Can RIM Be Saved?
To find out, we surveyed 536 IT pros. While BlackBerry represents a median of 70% of company-purchased devices in use now, that number plummets to 25% when respondents look ahead 24 months. And, a mere 7% say they plan to increase their use of RIM products. While the future looks pretty grim, there are some moves the company can make--but they need to be bold, and fast. -
