Wendell Jones, Ex-Nasdaq CIO, Joins Digital
Digital's Operations Management Services is one of three business units in Digital Worldwide Services, a $5.8 billion division. Multivendor outsourcing services are among Digital's fastest/growing services offerings.
Before joining Nasdaq in 1994, Jones held various IT management positions at McDonnell Douglas, including general manager of the company's aerospace information services unit, where he oversaw a $3 billion, 1
0/year IT outsourcing agreement with IBM. "I've been an internal IT guy all my life," says Jones. "Digital is well poised for making a difference in the services market. I think I can be a big fish in that pond."

ormer Nasdaq CIO Wendell Jones has joined Digital Equipment in a new position within the company's outsourcing services business. As VP of worldwide service delivery for Operations Management Services, a unit of Digital's Worldwide Services, Jones will be responsible for the delivery of Digital's multivendor outsourcing services.
