The first of its line of Proventia network appliances provides intrusion-prevention capabilities based on the company's RealSecure protection engine. Priced at $9,995, it offers a maximum aggregate bandwidth of 200 Mbps for one network segment. Next up: appliances that protect four network segments, priced at up to $52,995.
