CES 2012: Harrass Co-Workers With An iPhone-based Missile Launcher

Fun is always a major theme at CES 2012. For owners of iOS-based devices who want to declare war on their co-workers, Dream Cheeky's iOS-based, remote (Bluetooth) controlled missile launcher could be a good weapon of choice.
For people who've been the butt of office hijinks and who are looking to get even, maybe Dream Cheeky's iOS-controlled Bluetooth-based missile launcher is the way to ward off (or encourage) future attacks.

As can be seen in the embedded video below, the iLaunch Thunder's capacity is four foam darts. When the free application that runs the iLaunch Thunder is loaded onto an iOS-based device, the direction and trajectory of the next missile to launch is controlled by either dragging a finger around the screen, or by tipping the iOS device in a way that engages its accelerometer.

Users can also control how much force to apply to each shot. Unfortunately, there's no camera on the missile launcher. In other words, someone who is using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch to control an iLaunch Thunder will not be able to remotely see which direction (or who) it is aimed at. According to Dream Cheeky product marketing manager Ente Breed, that could be feature for a future version.

The iLaunch Thunder is available at DreamCheeky.com for $99.
