Security On VCs' Lists

Two security companies that make applications to help customers better understand what security-related events are happening on their networks recently won additional venture-capital funding. Security-threat and network-management software maker OpenService Inc. secured $8 million in series C funding last week. Two weeks ago, network-security provider Q1 Labs garnered $14.4 million in series B funding.
