Brazil will host the FIFA World Cup Games in 2014, a rapidly approaching event that has sparked a nationwide upgrade of security infrastructure. The city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais, for instance, is installing a citywide public transportation surveillance system featuring Hikvision's DS-2DF1-517-B Network Speed Dome cameras. The devices work well in low-light conditions, are good for quickly zooming in on moving objects, and will help security staff clearly identify suspicious objects, situations, and people.
