Speedy Response At Grand Prix
How do you get public and private agencies to work together during major events and emergencies? The city of Baltimore has adopted VidSys' physical security information management (PSIM) software, which provides real-time collaboration tools that enable interagency cooperation.
Used during the Baltimore Grand Prix and the 2011 NCAA Men's Final Four in Houston, PSIM offers public safety personnel a big-picture view of security operations and hardware, including surveillance cameras, door alarms, ID systems, and even gunshot detectors. During the Grand Prix, Baltimore authorities used VidSys' software to view clogged traffic areas in real time, allowing them to quickly reroute vehicles to reduce congestion.
