From the Document Company: Xerox Phaser 6110MFP/X
That the bottom end of Xerox's printer pricing and the upper end of Dell's intersect reveals the chasm between the markets these two companies pursue; Xerox isn't a consumer company and likely never will be. Perhaps that enterprise pedigree (this printer is one of the few products the company makes in the three-figure range) and the rich heritage of pioneering, if not creating, the document reproduction market, should result in a powerful printer for smaller business. Although the
Phaser 6110MFP/X uses the
toner commonly found in laser printers, rather than Xerox's proprietary -- and high quality -- solid-ink technology, this model still delivers top-notch black and white print quality and good color results. However, the slow print speed and monthly duty cycle don't deliver on the hype, and this printer lacks handy features such as automatic duplex printing.
