Pathbrite is one of several startups built specifically around e-portfolios. In addition to providing a showcase for a student's or professional's body of work or for a specific project, Pathbrite says its e-portfolios platform is being used in the classroom to improve course-passing rates, enable project-based learning and provide an alternative form of assessment.
