re: 12 Brawny Business Intelligence Products For SMBs
The fact that you dismissed MicroStrategy as a legitimate option for mid sized businesses really puts your opinion into question. I can understand why you might not recommend MSTR to small companies or companies that have a weak IT/IS staff because MSTR does expect you to understand the science of data warehousing. and you need to be able to read.

I have been working with MSTR for 10+ years and any "analysis" of the industry that dismisses this software (and yes, mentioning it as an afterthought, hidden in a final paragraph, is dismissive) does not add legitimacy to you or InformationWeek.

FYI I believe that online support does come with the free version of MicroStrategy.

The Agile Archive
When it comes to managing data, donít look at backup and archiving systems as burdens and cost centers. A well-designed archive can enhance data protection and restores, ease search and e-discovery efforts, and save money by intelligently moving data from expensive primary storage systems.
