New York's 32-Story Data Fortress: Inside Tour

Electrical conduits rise above the UPS systems on the 5th floor. Initially, the data center will tap into 5.4 megawatts of power, with a top end of 40 megawatts.

This is the New York Telephone Central Office at 375 Pearl Street, originally built to replace the central office at 104 Broad St. It never did replace 104 Broad St, after Howard Brunke (Later of TCG) found a way to get more cables into the vault at 104 Broad St. Too Bad, after Hurricane Sandy, I bet they wished they had replaced 104 Broad St.

Information Week only had one important New Year's Resolution this year. '"No Slide Show Articles with out a prominent 'View-as-one-page' link." How's that working out for you so far?
