Microsoft is counting on the fact that Windows 8 supports numerous computing form factors to give it an edge in the personal computer market. At BUILD, Sinofsky and Angiulo showed off desktop, notebook, and slate-style devices, all running the new operating system. Most analysts believe Microsoft will ship Windows 8 in 2012.
