It's not paranoia when they really are watching you!
Thank you for this information. I appreciate companies are motivated to make money, but automatically opting users in until they opt out is very underhanded. It's all a little too much 'Big Brother' these days for my liking!

Thank you -- this made it much easier to set up my gmail account and privacy settings easier. Also, helped me understand what they've (Google) has been doing. So annoying. But thank you!
