A good addition
Adding a feed of LinkedIn Group activity will likely boost activity and engagement. I belong to several groups, but rarely visit each page to catch up on activity. I think this feature will make groups more useful, especially since you can reply to and post updates from its main feed.

Good basic reminders
Thanks for the reminders. It can get overwhelming participating in a large number of groups. This new design and these recommendations (which probably should be common sense) can make a big difference in how the LinkedIn experience goes.
