Re: Intrusion enabled by default
I'd argue that Twitter photo tagging should be restricted to people you follow a la Facebook, where you can only tag your friends.

I agree. Should be off by default. Twitter should have learned from FB outrage of past.

Re: Intrusion enabled by default
Tagging is an awful feature that should be off by default. It's entices your friends to erode your privacy.

Curious -- would you pay for more control? What would you consider a fair price?

Twitter and Facebook are free, and you're getting the privacy protections you pay for.

The official mobile apps have the new settings, though you may need to download an update to see it.

Intrusion enabled by default
As helpful (and I use the word loosely) as this may be to some, it chaps me raw whenever a new privacy intruding feature such as tagging is rolled out and then >> ENABLED BY DEFAULT.  Further, it cannot be adjusted on a mobile device, you must use a desktop/laptop to go into the settings because the mobile app doesn't have it.
