Chalk One Up For The Little Guy




Bertelsmann Services Inc., the $3 billion outsourcer, last week said it's migrating 30 of its sales personnel and departmental managers from Siebel Systems Inc.'s Sales 99 to Salesforce.com Inc.'s sales-force automation applications. Markus Ramirez, VP of consumer services, says Bertelsmann made the switch because Siebel's application was "cumbersome"--and Salesforce's monthly $65 per-user charge will save Bertelsmann money.
