New CRM Software For Midsize Companies

Contact Center gives customer-service reps easy access to information residing in various enterprise apps.

Pivotal Corp. has started selling Contact Center, its new CRM software developed for midsize companies. The application gives customer-service reps easy access to information such as pricing data, product information, and customer credit histories residing in various enterprise applications, according to Pivotal. The goal is to shorten the time that a company's customers have to spend on the telephone while reps look up information.

Pivotal says most contact-center software is developed for the country's largest 1,000 companies, but its product was developed specifically with midsize companies in mind and includes fast and easy customization and integration. Prices vary according to each implementation.
