Agile Management?
Yes, the C-level needs to be agile as well, but often enough they just think "agile" sounds great and they demand agile processes from their staff, but continue themselves in the same old tardy pace that avoids making decisions at all cost.

Industry Expertise
In a corporate world that values CIOs with business chops as well as technical chops, why are we seeing big companies (GM and Deutsche Bank, for example) tapping CIOs from other industries? Wouldn't they be more inclined than ever before to seek CIOs with deep industry-specific expertise and not just broadly transferrable tech expertise?
