Technology That Talks

Ember Corp. last week unveiled hardware and software products and development tools designed to create a low-powered, wireless network for device-to-device communications. Aimed initially at the industrial-control, defense, and building-automation industries, the products have been tested as replacements for wires in water-treatment plants, oil refineries, and power stations.
