Netvibes Previews Social Pack Analytics

Netvibes is adding what it calls "adaptive social analytics" to its monitoring system, creating a complete platform for both monitoring and analytics. Netvibes Social Pack is entering private beta for existing Netvibes Premium Dashboard users and will be publicly available for individual professionals starting late July.

Netvibes claims to be the first to offer an integrated platform for both monitoring and analytics--functions it says other products tend to address separately. This allows brand managers to switch seamlessly between media monitoring and analytics to follow interconnected trends, influencers, and ideas in real-time, the company said in a statement.

Netvibes also provided a video preview.

Nextpoint Enhances LinkedIn Data Archiving

Nextpoint, a provider of cloud-based regulatory, compliance, and litigation products, said it has enhanced its social media archiving by integrating the LinkedIn API with NextPoint Cloud Preservation. All LinkedIn profile information, connections, and network updates will now be archived in Cloud Preservation's archive, making it searchable and accessible for legal discovery. Actiance announced a similar feature last month.

"Social media preservation is definitely top-of-mind for all of our corporate, government, and law firm clients, and these organizations are heavy LinkedIn users," Nextpoint CEO Rakesh Madhava said in statement.

OfficeXta Comes to Google Marketplaces

OfficeXta announced its enterprise collaborative platform is now readily available to the three million businesses that use Google Apps, through the Google Apps Marketplace, as well as those that use Google Chrome Webstore and Google Chromebook Laptops.

OfficeXta is a cloud-based platform that lets employees collaborate with business partners, customers and co-workers in real-time. Employees can have both public and private social profiles and can collaborate with both Google and non-Google contacts. The company claims to have "gathered the best elements of Twitter and Facebook and created a secured Social Enterprise Collaboration Platform for businesses from the Ground up."
