IBM: The most extreme business event processor, bar none?
With a software portfolio built largely from its acquisitions over the last few years, IBM now claims that is unmatched in its ability to enable customers with "extreme" business event processing (BEP). This is the ability of information technology to help business managers convert business events into business decisions in an extremely collapsed period of time, regardless of the number of events or the speed with which they transpire.
