Wartime Allies Link Up At Sea

IBM's Lotus Solutions has been installing its Domino software and Sametime instant-messaging application on Australian, British, Canadian, and German warships, providing real-time coordination with U.S. naval forces as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. The platforms are already used by the U.S. Navy's battleships and amphibious ready groups.
