Every software development team, Agile or not, wants to continually improve - but what does it mean to be better? In this paper, Forrester research surveyed 112 IT professionals in traditional and emerging industries about their Agile and traditional application development practices, how they measure success, and what their success rates are. The 24 most successful firms were identified and compared with the remaining 88 firms, which functioned as the control group.
