Overview: Rochester Institute of Technology wanted to improve availability of core Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) applications and streamline systems management and upgrades. The challenge was to ensure security of applications and data. The University implemented Oracle E-Business Suite On Demand to improve ERP application performance and availability, reduced IT maintenance burden, ensuring rapid and accurate implementation of upgrades and security enhancements. It also gained proven disaster recovery and global support capabilities, reduced the incidence of service outages and freed RIT staff to focus on implementing new features and functionality.
