Overview: This paper from TechGenix explains how to use a Public Folder in Exchange 2000 to collect mail that can then be accessed by multiple users, this could be used for a Sales Department or Customer Service mailbox for example. The paper explains the process of using a Public Folder as a mailbox. The best example of using a Public Folder as a mailbox would be for an email address of info@yourcompany.com. Any mail being addressed to info@yourcompany.com needs to be handled by the Customer Services department.
