Overview: This paper describes the porting experience and compares the performance of the ADF package on both Linux and AIX to demonstrate the impact of different interconnects, file systems, and kernels. The results show that the ADF package has great performance and scalability on both platforms. In addition, it includes tips for troubleshooting and achieving better performance.
